Groups Attack "Hounddog" Over Dakota Fanning Rape Scene

 Director/writer Deborah Kampmeier is under fire while her new movie "Hounddog" premiered at Sundance 2007. The movie is starring young Dakota Fanning as the victim of a child rape. A lot of restless groups, which have not seen the movie, already called for federal probes and boycotted the movie's rating on IMDB. Online petitions have demanded the arrest of Fanning's mother and agent, alleging that the film could be considered child pornography.

However, in the rape scene, only Fanning's face, neck, shoulders, hand and foot appear onscreen. Much of the rape is depicted in darkness with flashes of lightning and the sound of Lewellen screaming "stop it, stop it."
