AFFC & ADWD parallel reading
Aug. 13th, 2012 02:11 pmAs I am about to delve in GRRT's two last books (last so far), I have found that the storylines go very much simultaneously between book #4 and #5. GRRT has split the chapters into two books, mostly on a geographical principle. The chapters from the South of Westeros (plus Braavos) are in AFFC, while the chapters from the Wall and from Essos are in ADWD.
This list presents a curious and very ingenious way to actually merge the two books in one, and read the chapters as one book, without disrupting the chronology of events, thus ending up with one huge book.
I think I will try it. =)

Btw I have found that GRRM has a blog here on LJ! Awesome!
