Pornography seems to have become the new scapegoat, I may guess?
All nations one after another develop a campaign against internet pornography, in order to fight pedophiles, forced prostitution and other threats to kids lurking around the net...
And, astonishing as it is, the only thing ever coming out of that is sites being blocked who carry around no such content.
The mafia dealing with flesh doesn't ever have less business to do. The opposite is reality: You still hear reports about mighty or rich humans from governments or economy who sign their contracts while having a good time in a brothel. Or you still hear stories about middle-aged men who look around for child or teen prostitutes exclusively.
...But that's surely too much to fight against. If you want to defeat a mafia, you need another mafia, and you will never find any government spending the money and logistics for wiping this problem out. It's very much easier instead to control the internet and everyone's private matters - and at least this brings up profit.
I see...
