An interesting case in California puts a complicated question: Which one is greener, trees or solar panels? Neighbours Richard Treanor and Mark Vargas were locked in battle for six years because Treanor's 35-foot oak trees, planted over a decade ago, shaded Vargas' solar panels. In this case, the court ruled in favour of the solar panels because of California's Solar Shade Control Act, a law passed in 1979 and not applied until now. Treanor was not fined but must cut down his trees until March 28.

you are absolutely right to feel confused, I feel very confused to the degree that I am laughing hysterically!
I see for the first time a case with 2 right points of view each with a good intention and both are trying to protect earth.

Couldn't the neighbor move the panels somewhere else! this is the question I think about
For my opinion! I really don't know what to think about it, but I have feelings!!!
you know I live in a place with rare trees, and I have never seen very tall Oak tree in my life, I frequently think of heaven and paradise as a big garden surrounded by very long trees like this.

So I feel really sad that the man had to cut his trees especially that he took care of them for 10 years, besides I love shade of the trees especially in a hot summer like Egypt's

but earth won anyway! Ironically this is the only case where every result was gonna be in favor of earth. thank you for posting the case, it made me feel optimistic.
